I made a regular 6.5 x 6.5 square card with papermill linen white card  and black card for the matting of the panels . I have added a pop out part to the centre using spellbinders labels and LOTV always  forever paperpad. I have coloured write a message Tilda by stamping her with archival ink onto langton cold pressed paper. I have used a combination of distress ink markers and pads . The stamp on the blackboard is an oldie that I have had forever where I used versamark embossing ink pad with ranger white fine embossing powder and heat gun .

To decorate the panels I have used The Magnolia Doohickey Bow die with centre from Live & Love Crafts as with the lace border on the main card and kitty charm which has been finished with liquid pearls.

I have used also used stamps from Stempelglede Just a note collection with black and brown ink and added Magnolia butterfly stamps around the words.

Lastly the edging is Magnolia coffee die and I have used Marrianne butterfly's die for the centres.

Not a card for a wee change ;0)

Hi Crafty Bloggers

I had saw a beautiful picture frame in a shop with an old postcard inside
and this gave me the inspiration to make this for

The Magnolia Down Under Challenge #228 Doohickey's Only

I started with a plain frame and I painted it roughly with studio gesso .
While still wet I painted on Galeria glass beads texture gel.

Inside the frame I used pion papers and stamped Magnolia Postcard text stamps with black stazon ink. I cut the butterflies from the design paper and edged them with distress ink.
I used Doohickey tea labels and another cut out from the papers.

I have added this heart from Live & Love crafts to the butterfly Doohickey die.

I added this dragonfly and and another key charm on the other side
also lightly painted with white gesso.

I have used the doohickey house which I coloured with distress ink
using a blending tool and used the doohickey die dragonfly on top.

I adore the daisy doohickey die and pinched the corners that I saw in the Magnolia Magazine and finished with a doohickey swirl underneath and a hobby house button in the middle.

Here is the doohickey peony.

Can you tell I just love these dies !!

I hope you like my creation had so much fun doing something different
and will be placed in my bedroom as I love the overall result.

Thank you so much for stopping by
