Magnolia Challenges !!

Hi Crafty Bloggers

I have made my first shaker card! How sweet are these I saw them on a super DT's blog and could not resist. I have used Winter Tilda fro the Sweet Dreams Collection. They are all so gorgeous !! . I made the flower using the poinsettia DooHickey die and used the quick flicks tutorial where I put glossy accents on and covered it in this case with sugar glitter. I have also used the snowflake die so pretty ! It is definitely my favourite snowflake die.I also used these little bells so they can jingle when you shake it too.

I have used lots of pretty white lace and these gorgeous Raspberry Road Papers. There is a small music sheet with Jingle Bells which I have used my Xcut to do a concertina effect for texture. I have distressed the edges and inked them with distress ink. I like choosing different colours for her and seeing the results.

I have taken my first texture shot lol !!

Hi Crafty bloggers

 http://teddybochallenge.blogspot.com/

Wow this week has flown in for me and finished the 9 days in a row at work so had a lovely lazy day yesterday. I am just having a blast at the moment I won my memories suite on one of my favourite blogs !! and I was playing with it and watching tutorials . It is so much fun and I even made my own blogger header so watch out as I am still practising so might change quite a lot lol.
I have made this crafty creation for my sister in law who is just so thoughtful she gave me a voucher for Slater's in Glasgow and I got a gorgeous Barbour style jacket ( just need the land rover and Labrador to match it now lol ) and the most cosiest scarf ever !! The service was amazing ! and the manager was so cute !! ( allowed to look) lol. So I thought I would make her a thank you card . I found the cutest and perfect image Teddybea_150 called which one ? .

I just love her slippers and pyjamas !!! Great fun to colour ! I have been trying to get the colouring right on the folds !

I always tend to put so much on my cards as I get carried away lol. So my fella pointed out that this was much better lol ( the expert !!!)  It was so hard had to not even go near my embellishment box lol ! I made this simple  rosette and popped a bow on it.

Here is the inside just to write in it and post it later !

My fella in his wisdom has ordered me a cricut for my Christmas pressie (really sweet and has watched the whole sales pitch twice lol)  but I don't know as I really just wanted dies for my cuttlebug I just not to sure about the cartridges they don't look as pretty as dies what do you think girlie's !
Should I go for it or send it back when it comes !!

I shall leave you with the recipe underneath
Have A super Friday I am off to make this weeks top tips tutorial it is gorgeous !!!

I have treated myself  tonight to some Cheesecake ice cream yummy . I have used this lovely LOTV stamp little festive robins. So much detail to colour.

I also bought my first Marianne dies ,the bauble and star,  they are so gorgeous and go through the cuttlebug really well ! I have been playing with the cheesecloth again ! TOMIC - Challenge 19 - Magnolia For Ever !!

Hi Crafty Bloggers

Hope you all have some lovely crafty time at the weekend. I had a couple of days off ! so got crafting for TOMIC challenge 19 - Magnolia For ever where you need to use a sitting Tilda and a doohickey die  . While everyone else was out and I got lots of lovely peace & quiet !! I have used Sweet Christmas Tilda with  wrapped presents and the Noel stamp. I have used my all time favourite Doohickeys Doily flowers cutting die.

I made the flower by cutting two large doily flowers and one little. I used my cuttlebug. I sprayed the die cuts with a mixture of  antique linen reinker , water and perfect pearls powder in a mist spray . I  cut a long strip of cheesecloth and dyed it with the same mixture above except I used fired brick . I frayed the edges and tacked along one side and pulled the thread to make it scrunch together. I put it all together with glossy accents glue and popped a green button in the middle topped with dots of crystal stickles.

Here is a picture where I dyed seam binding the same way as the cheesecloth and made two bows. I put tiny left over lace at the bottom of the bows that I had left over from the frame. I  cut out the Noel stamp and made a  tiny hole with my cropadile and I attached crochet yarn to the little holes and made tiny bows.

I had to colour some more of these darling stamps so I chose  Tilda with cross stitch heart for the inside. I just love the choice of reds in the prismacolor collection. This is the top section. I used puffy paint on the hat trim too.

Here is the bottom section just had to make another one of these super flowers for inside !!

I am off to see what other crafty creations I can make !! Thankyou for visiting and have a geat weekend !! Recipe underneath .

Bye Kitty ;0) xxxx

Teddybo Challenge 18 - Things with Wings

Hi Crafty Bloggers

It's so lovely to be on my days off even had a wee snoozie this afternoon ! I picked this gorgeous fairy with dragonfly Fairy_ TB_Fairy001, for the challenge at Teddybo,  such a beautiful drawing. I coloured her with prismacolor pencils and added glamour dust to her wings. I put a little crackle paint on the border and on her dress just as an experiment lol .

I finally got some cheesecloth just waiting for the lady to email me back to ask permission so I can put it on here as I know it can be hard to get !. I used my own glimmer mist and spayed and frayed the edges behind the frame.

I have added these pretty flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and this double satin bow button. I made these tiny flowers from the cheesecloth and this gorgeous flower on the inside.

I put this pretty opal on the centre and have learnt to twist the green stems from the flower to make these curly embellishments.

I came in the top three at LOTV for a second time and I was so surprised it really made my week. Can't wait to try out the new Top Tips homework, waiting for snowtex to arrive but don't know if it will get here in time !! Looks so much fun !!
