Holly Tilda Giftbox !

Hi Crafty Bloggers

Still on holiday and still painting away , going to tackle the teenagers room over the next couple of days , OMG the amount of stuff in her room is just crazy !!! In order to keep my sanity I decorated the other box I made . I picked Holly Tilda this time and wow how gorgeous is she ! I was going to make her into a shaker card but then decided she was too pretty to cover in glitter !

I have used  A Graphic 45 paper pad which is so vintage and adorable , first time I have bought one from them ! I also used lots of pretty coloured lace and Tim Holtz Hitch fasteners for the knobs on the drawers .

I made this pretty flower with the lace, cheesecloth  and a gorgeous diamante silver button.

I also made a tiny vintage frame this time using my cricut and some text from the paperpad . It's so cute !!

If you would like to make this box with drawers you can find the tutorial on my post  here.

I would like to enter my box into the following super challenge

Teddybo Challenge - Christmas red or green must not be seen !!

Hi Crafty bloggers !!

This crafty creation is for the Current Teddybo Challenge - Christmas Red or green must not be seen !!

Oh my the weather is just pants !!! rain wind ! I am staying in today lol. We are having a lovely family dinner tonight so I am looking forward to cooking !! So many images to choose from ! I eventually chose Teddybea_165 lol. I had a go at paper piercing with Nicole's tutorial on Thursdays top tips. Will definitely be doing it again !! I chose just to paper piece her apron with a snowflake paper. I made this wee scene using Hero arts stamps with memento dew drop ink in London Fog ,where I added glamour dust and polar white flowersoft using a tombow glue pen .

The first reaction I got from my fella was it needs glossing !! lol that means glossy accents on the bauble lol ( He is now an expert !!) but I have ran out ;0(.  This was so easy to colour as Gayle has done the shading so you just colour there and it's so effective !!

I used my X-cut crimper to add texture to the papers and cricut frames . I painted all the edges with distress white crackle paint. The stars were cut and also painted .I used flowersoft and glamour dust again on these,  love this effect.  I then topped with a pretty lace bow and half pearl . I used this great sentiment which was free from Wordy Wednesday .

I made another cute star and used the Hero Arts Stamp set again ! Have not made an easel card for ages !!

I shall leave the recipe underneath hope your having a super weekend ! Thanks for visiting

Dreading when go to paint the living because that's where my crafty stuff is kept !!So lovely to have some time to do a tutorial and make something different. I found this tutorial here with Qbee / Brenda  it was really easy and such a cool make ! and I love how she does it in pictures and also on a YouTube clip !

I chose this holding Tilda and made a teeny weeny tag which  was matted and stamped with a LOTV grunge postmark .

I bought these cabochons and cut a circle from my card stock and stuck it underneath. I put as the centre piece for this gorgeous crossgrain spotted ribbon bow !

I cut these letters out using the cricut and put them on the Magnolia Doohickey Dream tag that she is holding !

I really enjoyed making these tiny cards for on top of the drawers . They have been matted and can be written inside !!

I used these gorgeous My Minds Eye Lost & Found Christmas Two Papers. I chose cross heart Tilda just love her wee jumper !! and I tried purple/maroon colours which is such a cool trend at the moment for her! I used the Santa's coming to town sentiment with some lace sewn around it. Had great fun distressing the poinsettia dies petals with ink pads using different colours and topped with this gorgeous pearl button. I made the handle stronger by putting it through my x/cut crimper and then sewn the lace to the edges. Had to finish with a gorgeous cross grain ribbon bow on top !!
Here is the back of the basket

I used the poinsettia die again with another button and added this Magnolia Tag for a sentiment!!
Here is the side

I used another doohickey tag with the Magnolia tree for a little tag on the side which I have crimped and distressed love this effect.

Teddybo's Top Tips & Challenge !!!

Hi Crafters

Teddybo's Top Tips - Clipboard - Teacher Edna

Hope you are all having a great week !! I have been working away but always get some crafty time it's a priority lol. First up is Teddybo's Top Tip Tutorial by Edna . It's a clipboard .  I made my own clipboard underneath the bow is a tiny bulldog clip. I chose Teddybo lazy days image .

I love making flowers and used cricit essentials to cut the flowers and I put these lovely buttons in the middle.  I am going to put this in my kitchen as we always need post it notes for little shopping lists.

Teddybo's Top Tips - Book card - Teacher Jill

I have made this little festive bookcard using this week's theme pastels so I can enter the challenge too. Rarely use pastels ! I have chosen  Snowbea for this one.

Here is the inside with a wee pocket for vouchers and a tag and a place to put some chocolates !!

and a side shot lol

Looking at both crafty creations I definitely prefer the first style . The second is just a bit more fun.
I have to dash as need to get ready for work so sorry no recipe today !! As you can see I decided to keep the cricut . My fella said he is going to have a shot today when I am at work he is going to cut the word boobies out and stick it on the window. He really is daft as a brush !! lol .
