The Sketchy Challenges #67 with Hilde & Petra Anything Goes

Hi Crafty Bloggers

It's time for a super new challenge at The Sketchy Challenges with Hilde & Petra .There is no sketch so it's Anything Goes so I hope you will go on over and take a look at all the super inspiration and super prize.
I have chosen Tilda hiding bouquet to colour with pion papers as the colour scheme !!

I have coloured her with distress ink markers and pads . I have added some stardust stickles and liquid pearls to her. I have stamped the sentiment around her with a Magnolia text stamp.
I have made the base card from papermill ivory linen card and used spellbinders dies to cut the design papers for matting with some foam tape.

I have used the vintage  daisy doohickey die with these stunning papers and used this gorgeous peearl lace riboon from Live & Love Crafts. The butterfly die is from memory box.

I saw a gorgeous box on Julie's blog and had to have a go was so easy to make !! had so much fun making this a matching gift box for the card !

I have used more beautiful lace and an old Martha Stewart doily punch.

I hope you join us ...

Thank you for stopping by my wee blog

Not a card for a wee change ;0)

Hi Crafty Bloggers

I had saw a beautiful picture frame in a shop with an old postcard inside
and this gave me the inspiration to make this for

The Magnolia Down Under Challenge #228 Doohickey's Only

I started with a plain frame and I painted it roughly with studio gesso .
While still wet I painted on Galeria glass beads texture gel.

Inside the frame I used pion papers and stamped Magnolia Postcard text stamps with black stazon ink. I cut the butterflies from the design paper and edged them with distress ink.
I used Doohickey tea labels and another cut out from the papers.

I have added this heart from Live & Love crafts to the butterfly Doohickey die.

I added this dragonfly and and another key charm on the other side
also lightly painted with white gesso.

I have used the doohickey house which I coloured with distress ink
using a blending tool and used the doohickey die dragonfly on top.

I adore the daisy doohickey die and pinched the corners that I saw in the Magnolia Magazine and finished with a doohickey swirl underneath and a hobby house button in the middle.

Here is the doohickey peony.

Can you tell I just love these dies !!

I hope you like my creation had so much fun doing something different
and will be placed in my bedroom as I love the overall result.

Thank you so much for stopping by

The Sketchy Challenges #66 Karina's Sketch

Hi Crafty Bloggers

It's time for a super new sketch at The Sketchy Challenges . Karina has designed this super sketch for us to play with !!
so why not pop on over for all the details and loads of inspiration from the talented Sketchy Designers !!

I have used pion design papers for all the lovely layers . I have coloured Tilda with her bike with distress ink markers and pens and decorated around her with white roses and beautiful pearls that my wonderful friend sent me.

I have been trying to make more shadows on her so still practicing and learning lol.

The beautiful flowers are from WOC and The Doohickey tree I have used a blending tool to colour. The butterflies are a menory box die with doodlebug glitter brads in the middle.

The birdhouse is from Noor deisign..I have used a craft concepts dot embossing folder to add texture.

I have finished with the sentiment from the design papers and topped it with some beautiful lace from Live & Love Crafts.

I hope you like my creation and are inspired to join us at
The Sketchy Challenges . We also have a new facebook group where you can show off your creations and sketches ..looking forward to seeing you there !!
