The Sketchy Challenges #83 Karina's Sketch & Be My Valentine Theme

Hi Crafty Bloggers

As I am writing this post the snow has been falling all day and there is a beautiful layer of snow wonder if it will be there in the morning !! It was forecast as going to be -1 but does not seem that cold .
Makes everything look so pretty !!
I have made a card using Karina's stunning sketch for the new challenge at

The Sketchy Challenges

The theme is "Be My Valentine" you can use the sketch or theme or both so why not pop on over to the blog for all the gorgeous inspiration from the design team and all the details of how to enter.

I have chosen to use Magnolia design papers and I have made a joy fold card with the base from Papermill linen card.

I coloured Tilda with fantasy flower with distress inks
 on Langton cold pressed paper.

I have machine stitches all the panels and added this beautiful heart lace trim and clay heart from Live & Love Crafts.

The wooden hearts I have decoupaged sagen napkins onto them and added a top coat of modge podge glue and seal also from LLC.
The card opens from the stopper which I have added the satin lilac ribbon
from The handcrafted card company.

I hope you will join us in the challenge you have a month to enter ..

First Christmas card for 2015 !!

Hi Crafty Bloggers

It's snowing outside with a pretty blanket of snow !! perfect for being in the mood for some festive crafting.. being more organised regarding this years Christmas cards.. I am trying to make one a month  just like my bloggy friend !

This is my first attempt at trying a different stamp company for awhile other than Magnolia  and I really enjoyed colouring her . She is Marci from La La crafts .

I have coloured her with distress inks I just loved how big she is !!

I used liquid pearls and stickles stardust glue for the snowflake garland and bows on her hair.

I have used The Magnolia doohickey tree with pom pom trim and added shabby mini bells. The clock is from Marriane and The view finder is by La La Land crafts and the bow from Magnolia ... The papers are from Pion from LLC as with the vintage straw and stamens.

I hope you like her as much as I do and thank you for visiting <3

I would like to enter my card into the following super challenges

2014 A year in Cards

Hi Crafty Bloggers

Here are my favourite cards I have made in 2014 . I have picked one per month though I had taken some time out. It's lovely to look through them to see how our styles have changed <3. I definitely think taking some time out had affected my creativity and it took a while to get back into the swing of things , I am so happy to be part of this crafting community and look forward to making lots of cards in 2015 and am especially proud to be part of a great design team with

Looking forward to visiting blogs for inspiration and trying out the new crafty trends in 2015 and entering my favourite challenges  xx
